Key to the project's success, the Site Manager is a professional member of the project management team, reporting to the Construction Manager. We are looking for a self-driven experienced Site Manager or Foreman who is looking for their next leadership challenge. You will lead a team of up to 30 Carpenters, Hammer Hands and Foreman across multiple zones ensuing their productivity and quality is second to none.


  • Plan labour requirements to execute the work to programme and book labour from our provider
  • Co-ordinate labour resources onsite to maintain programme, and labour productivity targets
  • Co-ordinate with the other Site Manager and Plant Manager for material and plant delivery and rubbish removal to maintain a productive workforce
  • Accurately capture labour, materials and plant expended on Variations via dayworks sheets
  • Together with the Quantity Surveyor report on labour productivity and forecast future requirements
  • Draft request for instruction notices (ROI's)
  • Attend daily pre-start meetings facilitated by the Project Manager  
  • Facilitate weekly carpentry team meetings
  • Attend weekly co-ordination meetings facilitated by the Project Manger
  • Manage Health and Safety of the carpentry workforce on site (with support from the HSQE Coordinator) 


  • Thorough understanding of commercial construction techniques and standards 
  • Proven experience leading large carpentry teams and managing productivity
  • Computer Literate and IT savvy
