ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Document Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organisation's documents are managed and controlled effectively. You will be responsible for organising, maintaining, and distributing all types of documents, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and reports, among others.
Your primary duties will include reviewing, updating, and tracking document revisions, ensuring that documents are appropriately classified, and managing access and distribution of sensitive information.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review project documents and prepare a compliance deliverables matrix listing the tests, inspections, samples and documents.
- Assist the project manager to arrange the compliance deliverables matrix into the order we intend to construct the project.
- Request from stakeholders, and file completed quality assurance check sheets, test results, third-party inspection results, samples, and documents, ensuring matrix is kept up to date.
- Prepare an operational and maintenance manual for each project.
- Prepare the applications for Certificate of Public Use, Code Compliance Certificate or Practical Completion on each project.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in managing document versions, tracking changes, and ensuring document completeness and quality.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments to ensure document control processes are aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
- Experience in document control or a related field, including knowledge of document control processes, standards, and best practices.
